Voting: the Voice of God

 

            President Calvin Coolidge, who served in the Oval Office from 1923-29, gave this moving speech which equates voting - the premier duty of citizenship - with serving as God's voice here on Earth.

 

            With the primary elections coming up all over the country Tuesday, it's a good idea to read this, and act on it, if you're of voting age. Teach your children not only who you're voting for . . . but why.
